Nepal Insurance Authority Karnali Province Office was established to develop the insurance system and insurance business in Karnali Province by making it organized, regular, competitive and trustworthy, to provide quality and reliable insurance services to the general public through fair competition in the insurance business and to protect the rights and interests of the insured by effectively regulating the insurance business. It has been operational In Birendranagar, Surkhet since  28 Jestha 2079. On 16 Bhadra 2079, Former Minister of Finance Government of Nepal, Honorable Janardan Sharma, inaugurated the office of Nepal Insurance Authority, Karnali Province.
